It is a type of baghouse dust collector, which relies on fabric filter bags to capture and collect the dust particles. The contaminated air or gas stream enters the dust collector through an inlet, where large particles may initially be separated through mechanisms like cyclones or settling chambers. The remaining fine dust particles are then directed into the fabric filter bags. The filter bags are typically made of woven or felted fabric materials with a high filtration efficiency. These bags are suspended vertically from a tube sheet or cage structure inside the collector. The dust-laden gas passes through the filter media, while the dust particles are retained on the outer surface of the bags. Over time, dust accumulates on the outer surface of the filter bags, which can reduce their efficiency and increase pressure drop across the system.

To remove this accumulated dust, a cleaning mechanism is employed. In a pulse jet dust collector, the cleaning is performed using compressed air. The cleaning mechanism involves periodic pulses of compressed air injected into the filter bags. This pulse of compressed air creates a shockwave that causes the filter bags to flex and shake, dislodging the accumulated dust. The dislodged dust falls into a hopper or collection area below the bags. A control system is used to regulate the cleaning process. It typically includes a timer or differential pressure sensor to initiate the cleaning cycles. The differential pressure across the bags is monitored, and when it reaches a predetermined level (indicating excessive pressure drop), the cleaning process is activated. The collected dust in the hopper or collection area is periodically removed and disposed of properly. This can be done manually or automatically, depending on the design of the dust collector. Pulse jet dust collectors are popular due to their high efficiency in capturing and removing dust particles from industrial exhaust streams. They are widely used in various industries such as cement, power generation, chemical processing, metalworking, pharmaceuticals, and many more, where controlling airborne particulate matter is essential for environmental and health reasons. We at Macon Enviro Technologies are committed to providing a large selection of Pulse Jet Dust Collector to our esteemed clients In Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and around India.
